Concrete Foreman

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to oversee and manage all activities related to the construction of concrete flat work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of concrete laborers, including preparing, placing, finishing, and curing concrete.
• Develop work schedules and allocate tasks to ensure efficient use of labor and materials.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to ensure accurate placement and installation of concrete flat work.
• Monitor project progress and ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked and materials used.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed and address any safety concerns promptly.
• Train and mentor crew members to enhance their skills and performance.
• Manage project materials and resources, including ordering supplies and coordinating deliveries.
• Resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Florida Driver License and Social Security Card.
• Able to work adjusted shifts. (AM or PM)
• Able to work overtime.
• Be Permitted to work in the United States. (per Federal Law)
• All applicants will be subject to a criminal background check, motor vehicle report and a pre-employment drug screening.
• Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction techniques, form setup, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Strong carpentry background in building forms for concrete flat work.
• Knowledge of how to operate D-curb machine efficiently.
